Jen is a certified and practicing Yoga, Hot Yoga, Youth Yoga, Mat Pilates, Yoga Flow, and Les Mills Body Balance Instructor. The foundation of her practice is simple: body, breath and mind integration for a more stable, balanced nervous system - and life! Most days you can find Jen teaching in local K-12 classrooms, where she is known for incorporating mindfulness lessons along with the traditional academic line up. She believes that educating the heart is just as important as educating the mind, and working with children and adults to help them mindfully locate their inner spark inspires her to continue her studies and share what she learns with those she teaches. Currently, Jen is finishing up a one year Mindful Educator Certification with Mindful Schools. She also holds a Masters in Education from Stanford University, a Masters of Fine Arts in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and a Bachelors Degree in English from CSUF. She lives in Aptos with her four kids and two dogs and feels lucky to call that gorgeous town home.
